Here is a belated look at the fantastic work illustrator Jimmy Turrell created for us, for the March 2020 edition of Creative Review, The Truth & Lies issue, dedicated to candour and falsehood in all its many guises.

Jimmy is like a whirlwind in the studio, so I wanted to share some snaps of the process by which the three final covers came about. I gave him material from all the main stories, and he set about combining them in increasingly inventive combinations, via screenprint, paste up and bricolage. Here is some of the work in progress.
